Step-by-Step Timeline to Get Licensed in Illinois
Step 1: Complete the Required Education (8 Weeks)
Illinois requires all prospective real estate brokers to complete 75 hours of pre-license education, which includes:

Step 2: Pass the Final Course Exam (1–2 Days After Classes)
Once you complete the course, you’ll need to pass a school exam before you can take the state licensing test. We schedule exams quickly and provide you with study guides and review sessions to help you succeed. That’s why so many students choose to take their real estate license courses with our school.
Step 3: Schedule and Pass the Illinois Real Estate License Exam (1–2 Weeks)
After passing your course exam, you’ll register for the Illinois State Broker Exam through PSI. Test availability is typically within 1–2 weeks depending on your preferred testing location.
